new big girl...

I bought this normal female for $100 from a sevice man who was caught trying to keep her hidden on base and had to get rid of her. She ate a f/t large rat for me the next day ( refused by other ball ). Could you guys look at pic#2 and let me know what you think about the greyish scales? They feel hard/dry to the touch, not smooth like they should. Is this something that may correct itself with the next shed?

Visual Morphs?....I love the normal looks. You can't improve on nature, you can only produce "interesting deviations".

The pic is in a quarentine 41 qt tube. The bricks are a dam to seperate cool from hot end and help with shedding since her belly is real pink and colors are real dull. People keep asking me about the bricks. The normal tubs in the racks do not have these.

I am new at this stuff, but if that were my snake, I would guess she had some stuck shed. I would put some neosporin on the area and see if the skin sheds off in a few days.
