Hey there. I am buying plants I can feed my Herman's and I want to be sure I'm doing OK!
I bought a Forsythia bush and have given him a couple of flowers. He hasn't seemed to want to eat them yet. Leave and flowers OK for him?
Got pansies - flowers / leaves OK?
Mallow - flowers and leaves?
Chinese Lantern - waiting on these babies to grow
Hibiscus leaves - waiting on flowers too
I have a list of plants I have found online that say they are edible for torties. I just want to be sure I'm not doing anything wrong. Makes me nervous to feed him things I'm growing without being sure. He seems to want to eat Romain lettuce like it's going out of style, but I want to get him into heartier food...
I have ReptoCal - should I sprinkle some on all of his food all of the time? It sais it inclues Calcium and D3.
Should I do squash and beets and turnips too? Someone mentioned carrots but I thought too much sugar?
Pretty much any tips would be SO appreciated!!!!
