can someone assist me here please,I have a beautiful 5year old corn snake (female)...and lately she has been regurgitating her mouse. In fact for the past three feeds she has done this. She is still glossy and active,in fact trying to remove the lid on the vivarium.I thought she might have been too cold and bought another heat mat....made not a damn bit of difference.help!! I don't want to see her starve or be anorexic

what are the temps in the cage? A few things come to mind. She may be too cold to digest........she may be eating prey that is too large for her..........she may have some parasites. How long are you waiting between feedings. You should probably give her a good 10-14 days and dont mess with her at all. If I were you Id take her to the vet to be treated for parasites, it cant hurt. Also, there is a product called nutribac that you can put in the snakes water to help with regurgers. Lastly, post this in the corn snake forum, there is a lot more traffic there. Good luck.

clean the cage and turn down the heat a little. offer it something small from a different source. try a freshly killed mouse that's never been frozen. see if you can get a live fuzzy, put in brown bag and smack it with a phone book.

Thank you all for your suggestions...especially Mudd..who said I should buy a live fuzzy, put it in a brown paper bag and smoosh it with a phone book!!! ERK!!!!.The Tank was thoroughly cleaned, new bark put in for her, nice new log, blah blah...and then mid sized mice. The size of the mice seems to be the deal. She has shed about 6 times since I was on here last, but still only wants the mid sized mice.Anything bigger gets spat out.I have a POSH snake (looks about the same size as Ms Beckham)...and just as gorgeous of course.Thank you all again x
