Help_Something is wrong with my Male

Paintball8190 Apr 12, 2006 05:44 PM

I have a Male Leopard Gecko. He is about 9 months old, and is in a cage with two full grown females that are about 3 years old. I have had him for a month, and he will not eat. The last time he ate was about 2 weeks ago. I have tried wax worms, crickets and meal worms, but he wont eat anything. The other problem is that his tale begins to shake very fast and he knipps the other two females all over there bodies including their tales. I know its normal to bite the neck, but he doesnt do that. Can someone Please help me.

Thanks A lot,
Paintball8190

1. Quarantine! This means a separate enclosure for any newly aquired gecko for 2-3 months before introducing it to any of your already established collection.

2. Tailshaking / Nips are all general breeding behavior.

3. Non-Eating / Fasting is due to him wanting to breed. Separate them.

As Josh said, all normal breeding behavor. LOL Generally a male will have a one track mind and not eat when he's.....well....trying to get a peace of tail.
