Pre-birth[bleep] shed? Is there such a th[bleep]?

Kevin Saunders Jul 29, 2003 06:48 PM

My buddy is expect[bleep] baby colombians soon and he said his female went into shed. He asked me if they shed prior to birth like a pre-lay[bleep] shed in colubrids. I found a caresheet that said they do, but it isn't a [bleep]ood indication since they can come over a month after the shed. So does the shed mean anyth[bleep]? He says she just came out of the blue, and I'm not sure what to tell him about the shedd[bleep] th[bleep]. Thanks for any help.

my gravid albino shed about one month ago. She is due any
day... I don't think it comes like clockwork or can be used
as an indicator that birth is coming... but who knows, maybe
you are on to something!
