2 Het Albino Clutch Surprises in 2 days.

OK, a few days ago I was in the forum complaining about how stubborn my girls were. They were bred in Dec, Jan, Feb and then the males stayed well away for the past 3-4 weeks. I started to get frustrated. I begged and pleaded, I danced naked to the snake goddess. I was about to give up on getting eggs this year and then Bammo, I wake up tuesday to a clutch of 6. Weird, I thought because this girl didn't go through a prenatal shed. But very happy indeed. And then today I wake up to a clutch of 9. And again this girl did not have a prelay shed. Off feed, fat and laying coiled, but no freakin shed!! Apparently my males knew they were gonna blow, as they tried to keep away from the females the last few weeks.

Jumping for joy!!!

I am sooo jazzed!! Thanks for the congrats Alice. I candled the eggs and every single one has nice red veins. Hooray!! After spending 30K on reptiles last year, DH is happy to see some results. I haven't told him I will probably keep all the females. Mwaaahaaaahaaaaa

Now, I got to dance naked to the Caramel Goddess!!
