I bred my male pastel to 7 girls, 5 of them have either layed eggs or will be laying shortly. How many girl did you breed and how many of them took?

Well I paired up a pastel with 4 girls, one laid today, 1 just finished her post ovulation shed and the other just finished ovulating and one we aren't sure. My het pied has been paired up with 2 girls one is due to lay next week the other was a late pairing and they are still locking up regularily. My Black Stripe had one girl, she already laid. And my het ghost was paired up but never locked up that we saw, no ovulation seen either. So out of 8 females for sure 5 are going and 2 more might still go so at least 63% possibly more.

I am breeding 35 female balls this year. I have 7 clutches artificially incubating already. Another 6-8 due anytime. The rest are still breeding. Most of the rest should go, alot of them are proven breeders. Thanks Jon

My first clutch is 2 days late - as usual. So far, almost 50% of the females I bred have ovulated.

we breed close to 100 girls this season , we have 10 clutches in the incubator right now, 1 clutch that hatched yesterday.
We actually put through 2 cycles this season, out of the first cycle we have about 40 girls that are ovulating or have just finished, and about 25 that have already had there pre lay shed.
There are alot of pastels in that mix. Lemons, nerd line and bell line.
As for the second cycle we have about 40 girls, most have good size folicules rght now and a few have ovulated. There will be bumble bees, possibly honey bees, clowns hopefully, cinnys and a few other things from that group..
Time will tell.
Good luck to everyone this season..

I bred a total of nine females this season (not all mine) - of those there are 4 clutches laid, 3 on the way and 2 females that I sold but have not heard from their new owners if they've ovulated or laid yet.
