We have a baby Yellow Bellied Slider and will be camping lots this camping season. Do you have ideas on how we can bring him with us on trips?

I used to know a woman who took long vacations every summer to meet family at a beach house. She'd pack up the kids, the dogs, & the turtles for the trip. She'd put the turtles in small containers on top of a damp towel instead of water because if you put them in water then the turtle will slosh around too much in the car.
Then she'd set up a tank for the turtles once she got there. That seemed to work for her.
The reason she did that is because she couldn't find a pet sitter she could trust.
