My Newest Ballpython.

MarkS Apr 13, 2006 10:17 AM

My newest aquisition just arrived this morning and I wanted to share. He's a 66% possible het Lavender Albino from Ralph Davis. I know it's probably not a big deal to a lot of people, and pos hets are always a bit of a gamble, but I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I've always liked the Lavender Albinos but they are WAY far out of my price range, this is a good way to hopefully produce my own in a few years for a lot less money.

Just out of the box

He's very alert and inquisitive right out of the bag

He's big enough that I'll be able to breed him to a couple of females that I've already got picked out next season.

He's a good looking boy even for a normal looking ball

I like the way Ralph signs his bags. Kind of like an artist signing his work...

Well, I know he's just a normal looking male, but I'm pretty excited about him

Very cool. 66% hets are not bad odds, you might get lucky and end up with Lav. Albinos in the near future. Good luck. Jon

Thanks, I hope I can prove him out, I've done it before with other possible hets. But even if I don't it's still going to be a fun journey.
