William_A Apr 13, 2006 10:52 AM

This little girl was first out for me in 2006. She hatched last night. The first of I hope many. She is a cross between a SHT and TTA. Hope you like her.
Good Luck All,
William

I've never really paid much attention to the colour morphs as my animals (including my gecko) are rescues. I spent some time looking through your site and I am amazed at the beauty and variety this wonderful little reptile has. My girl has an amazing personality taking food from my hand and climbint up when she is in the mood as well as greeting me at the side of the tank. I am currious, how much bigger are the giants?

The best person to answer that is Ron tremper, but I will take a stab at it. I also included a link to Ron's site. There is a ton of great information on his site.

The average female leo will weigh in between 45 to 60 grams at a year old and a male will between 50 and 70 grams at one year old. A Giant will be 60 to 90 grams at one year old and the males will be between 80 to 110 grams. Super Giants will be 90 _ grams and the males 110 grams at one year old. The gene to produce these is said to be co-dom like the Mack snows.
I have noticed a size difference in the eggs in my short time working with this gene. I hope to learn more about it over the next several years.

I hope this has helped,
William
