Sunglow or not a Sunglow......

dutchoven Apr 13, 2006 01:09 PM

As I am looking through my first Sunglow litter, I am not afraid to admit that I am uncertain about a few of them as I had mentioned in my previous thread. So, I thought I would post the pics and let you guys tell me which one's you think are Sunglows and which one's are albino's. Here goes:

Male #1

Male #2

Male #3

Male #4

Female #1

Female #2

Female #3

Female #4

Female #5

Female #6

Female #7

So, what do you think?

Since no one has jumped in yet...I'd say
M-2
F-4, F-5, F-7
are definite albinos...
As to the others...I hope someone else will give their opinions..
Very beautiful babies, both albino and sunglow.

Its the contrast and the saddles, correct? Just trying to make sure that I get this down before we start producing sunglows next year lol

the tail blotches. For those indicated by others as albino's, I see a outline in white/clear. For the others there are no such (oor very minimal) outlines?

I am also interested in telling the difference as I should be producing Sunglows in a year or two myself!

I would agree with that. Female #3 was the only one I was just not sure of. I appreciate the input!

BTW Mark, want to trade a few sunglows for a moonglow?

Hey Griz...It was my understanding that Sunglows side medalions are supposed to be solid red...and albinos have a white spot in center...and also a white ring aaround tail saddles....I could be wrong....but this is how I understood it.
If...this is right...you have some smokin Albinos....but would need to see side shots for the Sunglows.
