What are the differences between these? At a glance they look about the same to me. Do both make good pets as compared to a corn? Which would you recomend as a first milk? Thanks for your help.

You're right.they do look "very much alike".....NOW! But as one who saw (and bred) sinaloans back in the "olden times" (late 70s-late 80s), before the ready availability of nelsoni (and the popularity of its amelanistic mutation), I can say that very few pure lines of sinaloae remain. Most appear to be crossed with nelsoni to a greater or lesser extent. If you see a real pure sinaloae, there will be no doubt-the red bands are at least 30% broader than a nelsoni! It's really a shame.
