Is it normal for my Emerald to only move when its time to eat. It only stays coiled up?? Comments would be great Thanx.

I think Ive had it about a year and a half, Ive also noticed it will move if I leave all lights off but it doesnt like red lights or those blue moon lights. O well seems like a very heathy animal though. Thanks for the comments

Emeralds are active at night and they sleep during the day. For a few days after feeding, even at night they will stay coiled up. Once their food starts digesting then they will become active again.

I have animals that are all over the cage day and night, I also have animals that I have not seen move in years(seriously). In my experience activity is a individual thing to the animal it self. Rather seems pretty normal, if you want activity get a amazon!
