Seems we almost never see them listed for sale anywhere, are they the albinos that have had health problems we have heard about or are they just not as popular as the regular albino?
Just curious.

Hello,
Yes, There are a few people working with them. Me included. I'm breeding a Pink Pastel male to an Orange Albino this year. I'm curious to see what happens. They will probably be double hets, but you never know. I don't know if anyone has tried this yet, hopefully I will be sucessful. I may have some available later this year, but my female was too small to breed this year so I bred the male to a het. and the Orange Albino. I'm keeping my fingers crossed....
Rick
Hi Rick,
Thanks for the reply. I think that Richard Evans has crossed the two albinos before but I could be mistaken. Seems that I read somewhere that they produced double hets. I'm crossing a hognose from the northern part of their range with an albino this season. The northern animals have a very dark color so I'm looking forward to seeing how the albino form will look like. I would like to try the cross with a pink albino also but haven't seen many of them listed. Keep us posted on how the pink X albino turns out and keep me in mind if you get any extra pink albinos.
