fattiesnleos Apr 13, 2006 08:58 PM

okay no 1 get weird but i was really bored so i thought i would show the geck world who i am and what a dork.... i also thought it might help people who always wonder who each of us are, the ones who are always on here anyways. i am sorry its not gecko related but here is a pic of my most recent girl. she was born 12/23/05 and is from hiss. she weighed in at i think 44 grams yesterday. these are bad pics...

as for the last picture, it is a really sweet looking gecko, HISS has some really sweet stuff, i am looking into buying one sometime this spring, but im yet to decide if its gonna be from HISS or the urban gecko, they have some great stuff aswell.

and as for the first two pictures... well its deffinitly not a morph i see every day around here. but it sure is a nice one

hahah well thanks and thanks. i recomend hiss over urban just because kelli was great and so are her animals. they are just as good as urbans but for a cheaper price. urbans also seem too small for their age. but yes they are beautifull geckos at bothe urban and hiss!

bluetreefingers Apr 13, 2006 11:05 PM

do you know of any other breeders who specialize in tangs as well as hiss and the urban gecko does? im really looking around but they are the ones that stand out the most.
did your gecko have a hard time adapting to his/her new environment?

she didnt at all however i find that it works better when u buy them young. there is another place that is great for tangs and everything. it is called www.hotgecko.com or it might be www.hotgeckos.com. i know that they do have urban mixed with there own bloodlines.

Nice pics! I think its a good thing that people are posting there mugs along with there reps! It makes it more personal i guess as we are all getting advice from one another or just discussing and its always a cool thing to put a face with the reps and the names. Wendy and I might just have to post a pic of us with our two geckos or maybe we will wait for our dragon to get here and post everyone!

some days your the dog, some days your the hydrant...don't know who started this saying but it's the truth

Hate to plug myself but I breed some nice and affordable tangs. I have Ray Hines, HISS, Urban, Albey, Golden Gate, and Hypo Gecko bloodlines. I range from SHTCT to Tangerine Tornados. Also if you look at the top of the page there is a link to registered breeders you should look at.

WindyO Apr 14, 2006 11:43 PM

Thank you. If you like those you will love what I will heve soon. I got a late start this season but am under way with 42 eggs currently. Also those on the available page were the end of the year babies. I will have those and much better in a month or so.

I hate to say this but I don't recommend putting another gecko in with her. Often when this is done they were raised in a community tank and are used to sharing space. Introducing another female could lead to fighting and bullying. One female could become domainite and hog the food or scar the other in a fight. Now I am not saying it can't be done. You have to look at tank size and number of hideouts. You would also have to watch for behavioral interaction between them. Then there would be a size issue. I would never put a smaller gecko with an adult.

Haha, I found myself looking at your eyes and thinking "she looks pretty tired."

I just in the mirror and mine look exactly the same, think it's time for me to hit the sack too.

Awesome pics!

haha ya im in school too, but i took a fast track class at the moment and im waiting for another to be available. im just taking the first classes but i want to specialize in reptiles and vetrinary. i also have to try to find time to balance seeing my horse also. i work at a horseshoe store and have to lift 5-65 pound boxes all week too, so you can imagine how tired i can get. sometimes i also work on sundays at my boyfriends car wash, but it has been raining a lot lately....okay thats enough about me and my personal life.

venomlust Apr 14, 2006 03:31 PM

Yikes that's a full plate, kudos on being able to handle it all!
