Hey Peter, I got eggs from an important King on the 10th. I fed her 2 small hoppers after she was finished, and 2 more on the 11th. I also fed the male, especially since his other mates are all gravid now. I put them together on the 12th, and found them locked up today. When I picked up the female after for a quick inspection she even bit me LOL. I don't see any harm in seeing what happens when they're introduced shortly after clutch one whether they have shed or not. I know it can take up a lot of time if you have a large collection but experimentation will eventually get you what you want....another clutch. I am keeping notes but it is not something I will look at next season,,,it is more so for the fact I hope he breeds all his mates again and if he gets lazy I will know which ones he needs to get busy with. I prefer to see a few copulations, but since I have one male and 4 females I am trying to have him breed each one once before him having seconds on any of them. The other females may not be ready as fast as this one was for more breeding, but I am sure glad I wasted no time introducing him again to female number 1. I will feed them tomorrow and try them again soon after, as I have some time before any of the others will be ready.
