Hatching question

churchy1 Jul 29, 2003 07:41 PM

On Sunday night I had my first hatchling, it was the smaller of the first two eggs, it's clutchmate has still not hatched yet. The eggs were not due to hatch I thought untill later this week, is it possible to have the two eggs hatch so far apart?

Thanks,

Craig

Last year, my first 2 hatchlings (ever) hatched exactly 7 days apart, almost down to the hour. The second was considerably larger, up until they were 3 months old and I sold the second.

I was shocked that one would incubate so much longer then the other, but they were both fine.

Incidently, the second was a female and the first was a male.
