Try as they might, I just don't think the morph community will ever change my mind. Normal common petshop generic boas will always be my favorite.

I was complimenting you. It is an awesome normal. I don't know where you get the idea that I am some kind of morph freak. I know you mentioned it in another thread. I have about 50 boas here.
One is a hypo female here on breeding loan, 4 are hypos from her litter, and guess what the other 40 are...normal common boas, most of which were purchased in petshops. Do you think I would keep buying normals if they were not my favorite? I call the ones that I don't know the origin of "generic" because I don't know what breedings produced them. I just recycle a term that rosy boa and grayband king breeders/hobbyists use to describe a mixed locale, or an animal who's background is unknown. The term takes nothing from the animal, it just means it could be anything. It is nice none the less.

I had assumed that you were being sarcastic and that Your post was just a slight continuation of the "sonorran" incident. again, my apologies.

It WAS a slight continuation(without the negativity) of the other thread, as I didn't think I fully got to explain my stance on "common boas". I think that you thought I was belittling the snakes by calling them generics, which couldn't be farther from my actual thoughts.
Anyway, I too apologize.

yeah I did some kind of insultive vibe from you when you kept saying generics and such. But youre right...normals are in my mind better snakes. okay ive never owned a morph but all of my norms are healthy, tame, and eat regularly...who can want anything more?

What's in his belly? Derek

pythonis Apr 15, 2006 04:26 PM

lol jk. Seriously, She ate a small f/t on the 7th but has refused since. I normally feed her a couple mediums about every 10-14 days but maybe she's on a diet. Someone told me once before that she looked skinny. what do you guys think? is she ok or does she need to drop or add bit? (btw, the guy pictured is a local breeder who always jokes around that a snake ate his legs. so a bit of humor there if you didnt understand the pic.)
