Sexing

getannette Jul 29, 2003 08:02 PM

I have spent a very long time over the last year reading this forum and I can see that sexing a skink is difficult work. I now I have three I bought each of them to live together in harmony and makes babies to spead the growth of the species....however they make lunch out of each other everytime I put them together. I have built them an awesome setup that could be opened up for all three to wander through but they cannot be together. I feel as though they are all females. What is one to do. Any ideas on how to maybe sell one or trade one. what do you guys do to get breeding pairs together. We love all three.... I rescued one at a price of $275.00 she was very skinny and malnourished. Now even though she is missing toes she is the most loveable pet we have my 6 year old thinks she is a teddy bear carrying her around all the time. They are grat pets but I want babies...I am so bummed help in CT

Prehensile tail skinks...sorry new to the forum. I just measured them and hope appears to be a male but she was malnourished before we got her healthy now but does that maybe stunt her growth. Both of the others measure to be females.
