F2 albino
Hypo Pueblan x Het Nelsons

This was the only female of a clutch of 9 and the only one that looked real different.

I wasnt going to let her mate this year but im really thinking about it.

Im just itching to see what she produces.

No visible hypo's at all, The F2 Clutch gave me 8 normal looking males and this stunning albino female.

I know that most would say that it cant happen, but i belive this female is hypo and Amel at the same time, she is just so different than any other albino Pueblan x Nelsons that i have ever seen.

Just out of curiousity would you be intrested in posting any of you breeding records to HBA for use in our study? I was going to email you but you have it set not to allow contact that way.

Trust me... that's a Hybino... the snakes involved are RED... hypo pueblans red... nelsoni red... your animal ORANGE... your snake seems to express both genes simultaneously... (very similar to the Hybino hondurans)... very stunning animal! are you breeding her to one of her siblings? or sire? sire should give u a better clutch... a sibling male (being normal) may not carry both traits.

if bred back to "daddy" and she is a Hybino you'll end up with:

1/4 Hybino
1/4 Hypo het amel
1/4 Amel Het Hypo
1/4 100% 2x het

Keep us posted when you do breed that animal.

Thanks ZF

I have always thought that she was a true dbl homozygous Hybino.
i have 6 eggs from her parents at the momment, unfortunatly the mother died shortly after laying the eggs, with no apparent reason at all. GUTTED.
i couldnt wait and have bred the hybino back to her father, so im really looking forward to hatching time.
