i was just looking in the classifieds and noticed someone selling CB '06 Bitis.

ok, its bad enough when you can buy a NATIVE baby WDB for $10-$25. Now theyre selling even deadlier EXOTIC species for about the same price? if all the people buying these animals were responsible, i wouldnt care, but as we all know that is not the case. i just hope this guy sells these snakes to the right people instead of trying to make a quick buck and selling them to anyone that is interested.

A gabby is what I want but even at that price I know better-I don't want the $75,000 hospital bill that comes with not being ready(and I like my fingers the way they are). All we can do is hope.

well im glad to hear that you are going to be responsible and at least think it over before jumping right in. im not really worried about the idiot that goes and buys the snake to be cool, but what i am worried about is the fact that this great hobby may be gone by the time i am old enough and experienced enough to keep hots.

either laws or bans. I give it 10 years to total out. Not saying one couldn't acquire a hot but it may be one of those underground market scenario things. Prices don't reflect a thing due to me being around of the massive import days. Just the logic has changed with the " walk in - walk out " selling. Even though I have attended and sold at the venomous reptile shows/expos, I've seen some things that I worried over as to sellers and buyers. Add this on to the fairly new on-line sales......
