Something New

jasongray27 Apr 14, 2006 10:22 PM

I have a few Corn Snakes and would like to advance to something a little newer/more difficult. I am thinking a Pine, Gopher, or Bull would be a good next step. I really am not into Boids. Any opinions or suggestions would be appeciated.

Depending on your tastes Eastern Pines are all good, be it Black, Northern or southern.

The Mexican Pituophis are also great, like deppi.

But you say you want more challenge?

Hognose are unique too and in the case of the eastern, more difficult. Racers/coachwhips also present challenges and are fantastic snakes.

Some of the members of that loose confederation called ratsnakes can present definite challenges and remarkable beauty. Look to Asia for some of the most attractive.
