ERIC_NAVARRO Apr 14, 2006 11:45 PM

i just wanted to post a couple of pics of my common female boa she is about 8ft. and around 35-40 lbs i bred her to a f1 hypo male late last year but she started feeding again about a month ago so i guess she's not gravid (BUMMER!!!) i don't have the male hypo anymore so i guess this girl is just gonna be a pet for now.

just because they start eating again doesn't mean their not gravid. some female eat all the way through..mine started eating again but only twice..and i know she's gravid she's huge..looks like she is about to explode...np

you mean it wasnt a pet before? How will things change for it now that it is "just a pet"? are you going to move it into a less expensive tank? feed it less often? forget it exists? (lol just kiddin around with ya...dont take it seriously).

count her out, she looks pretty pudgy in the right area.. I started the pairing of my females in the middle of September last year and they just dropped their litters in the begining of April. It's always a game, one day you're sure they're gravid, the next day you're sure they're not. Wait and see, by the way she looks, I bet she drops something. Take care and here's a prebirth congrats!
