I have a normal ball python who is female. She weighs about 2300 grams and is in great health. I had a man offer me $300.00 for her. I have never sold a snake before and I would like some extra imput. I am not sure if im going to sell her or not, I have had her since she was young. Thanks for any replys.

I dont know what the market is right now but ive seen girls that big for for double that. which i feel is overpriced but hey some people will pay it. i think 300 is good.

I have seen a range of prices for a girl that size. The price is really going to depend on a few things (this is just what I have noticed, experts out there, do step in and shut my ... up):

- size, bigger is better, but weight in proportion to length. A really long, yet skinny female is not as viable as a short and stout female.

- cb, ch, ltc, or wc. that one is pretty obvious, although there seems to be some difference of opinion on what long term captive is...

- virgin, proven, or other. if she dropped a clutch of 12 for you last year, you can bet she will get a pretty penny. Although the male can have a big hand in this as well, its still a good selling point.

- over all look. Does she look good, then price it that way.

The truth is man, everyone is looking for a deal on an adult female, there is never a shortage of buyers. Good luck,

If I guy offered you 300, then he will probably pay 400.

Id buy her now for $300!

A female that big and eating is worth $$$$$$$$$$ to some people.
