Pastel Jungle Question......PLEASE HELP......

Boaboy00 Jul 29, 2003 08:31 PM

Hi, I have a quick, kind of stupid question.....I have noticed that in all the pictures of recently hatched pastels, they really dont have that many(like 2-3 small) burn out markings along their backs. But when I see pictures of more older animals, they exhibit a lot more of the burn out markings along their backs.

Do the burn out markings appear more and more as they age, or is how many you see in a hatchling the amount they will carry into adulthood?

Thanks again for any help!!!!!

Mike

In the Pastels I have seen, they definatly gain more blushing as they grow. Most babies do not show as much blushing as the adults, but the best adults are of course the best as babies too.

compair this to a rottie dog. When there pups they have small amounts of the rust color and it gets more and more prominant as they grow, creeping up the legs and so on. Some have more rust than others. Same with blushing balls. I would love to see a baby picture of this male! Yes, he is mine.
