I haven't solved my problem with my veiled yet,he still shows dull/grey colours when he is exposed to open areas with out cover(leaves,branches),one of them is the basking area.
I went today and bought a pothos plant in order to cover those little open areas so he can bask and feel secure,it didn't seem to help though.
I forgot to mention that 8 days ago I moved him to his present cage which is actually very big.
The only time that shows his colours is when he rests or sleep in a particular spot that he chose since day one in the shefflera.He always sleeps there at nights.When he is anywhere in the cage he is dull,when he steps in that favourite place he gains his colours back immediately.
Please I need your help on this..
