One very strange Easter egg!

Markus Jayne Apr 16, 2006 09:07 AM

The eggs are starting to arrive and what would Easter Sunday be like without going onan egg hunt and finding some eggs first thing in the morning. But I never expected to find this!

My het albino laid 4 eggs and as you can see, one is very odd shaped. And yes it is fertile.

The small pic below features an egg that was laid a few years ago. It ended up hatching fine. I've had several since and I call them boob eggs. I'm absolutely stumped as to what to call this new creation. Hmmm...I'm betting it's a boy inside.

Happy Easter to all!

Wow, it looks like Siamese eggs where a slug is attached to a viable egg.

Happy Easter

WOW, did they both die? I'm guessing there isn't a lot of experience separating siamese ball pythons or any snakes for that matter.

They went full term and died in the egg. I never seen anything quite like them before.

I produced a couple of eggs just like that last year from two different poss het Caramel females. I bred my male 100% het Caramel to both of them. One crazy egg in each clutch, they went bad half way through incubation. There was also one of the stubby eggs in each clutch. I have never seen this before, neither had alot of people I had shown them to. You are the only other person I have seen to get one. If any body else has pics of eggs like this please post. Thanks, Jon
