What I do is this, first take a live pinky(mouse or rat)wash it gently & dab it dry,rub a toad all over it and put it in with the snake. It sometimes helps if you put the snake & pinky in a small container & leave them alone.I was successful after only 3 tries with the last one & it was an adult. Good Luck!

Now you see, I would'nt have thought of washing it off first. I'm probably going to try this method first.

I never fed my eastern scented rodents.. she eats them just fine. she does prefer pinky rats over fuzzy mice though.

Yeah I tried this the other day. I was feeding my K. Sand Boas when I had the thought of offering my Easterns a pinkie. I placed two pinkies in each of their cages and left them over night with no luck. So the next morning I removed the pinkies and tossed in the toads which they devoured immeditaly as usual.

"The irrational fear of snakes is the only excuse a grown man has... to act like a complete sissy" - Colchicine

... nature has ceased to be what it always had been - what people needed protection from. Now nature - tamed, endangered, mortal - needs to be protected from people. When we are afraid, we shoot. But when we are nostalgic, we take pictures.
