testing new camera. dial-up warning

We just picked up a new camera to have a smaller one that our other camera. The camera is a Nikon coolpics 4600. So far even without knowing all the tricks of the camera I am hooked. It is awesome and I am sure I will get even better with it as time goes by. Please let me know your thoughts on the pics.

That is what I thought at first as well. It is actually a tiny piece of stuck shed. I removed it after seeing it in the pic.

Also if you look you can see all kinds of small pieces of cypress mulch all over him. He likes to burrow in the cypress.
