Is a 24"L X 18"H X 16"D to small for a full grown Corn snake?
i think that is too small. you want floor space in the enclosure not height. also with more floor space you will be able to get the temp gradient better with a warm and cool side, my corns and kings are kept in 34"L 6"H 16"W, i think if they can stretch out almost completely they will be happy, just my thoughts.

That size would probably be alright for a year or two, depending on how much you feed & how fast your snake grows - but you'll want to upgrade to at least 30"x18"x7" minimum for a full grown corn. Although I have found the tanks that are not too high are difficult to use for display, if you intend to display them. At least I had a harder time seeing them when I had them in a shallow box. Sterlite makes several size boxes that are good for corns.

The rule of thumb I use is the cage length should be at least two thirds the length of the snake. The depth should be one third the snake's length. So a three foot snake can live in a 24 X 12 inch cage.
Although cage height is not as important as floor space, corns can and will climb. The snake will get additional exercise if it has branches in the cage.
Corn snakes spend large amounts of time doing nothing. Most of this time is spent in their hidebox. If you take the snake out for handling on a regular basis, it can do well in a cage even smaller than the "rule of thumb" I use.
