Common question- sexing

SnakeBoyAlex Apr 17, 2006 10:06 AM

I have owned my Corn Snake for about seven years. I have just called him a "he" although I am not quite sure. I know there are some ways to sex the snake, but I do not want to hurt "him". I know there are ways by looking at tail length/shape. How would I go ahead and figure out the sex? I want to finally get my snake a partner. I may go out and capture a wild corn (Miami phase) and try that out once the wild snake gets settled. I wonder what an Okeetee and Miami cross would look like. Anythign wrong? I am not not new to herps, but very new to the world of breeding them.

Hey!, if you can, post a clear pic of the underside of your corn from the vent to the tip of it's tail.Myself & numerous other peeps on here could give you an opinion without having to probe him.i.m.o. corns & easter hogs are @ of the easiest colubrids to sex by "eye balling". jeff
