Apricot Ball Pythons

JaredHorenstein Apr 17, 2006 11:24 AM

I have not posted here in a long while........so I figured it's time to throw some pics up for you all...

This is a new project for me. I proved this line dominant last year when I bred tghe original animal to a bell oline pastel. The resulting clutch had 1 Apricot Pastel, 4 Apricots and 1 normal. All the Apriciots are also partial ringers in one or multiple places in the rear half of the body. All the snakes exhibit an increase in orange coloration and very nice blushing in the head and body as well as bright gold eyes. They do not exhibit the characteristic patternless white belly we usually see in doms/co-doms.

Very cool, I definitely see more than just a Pastel. The side pattern is really crazy. Could you please post a pic of Apricot babies? Good luck with this project. What's up with the Super Stripe, any new pics, and oh yeah who's the damn mom? Thanks,Jon

if theres enchi (spelling), matrix graziani etc why not apricot ...cool color to them im not much on pastels but are nice. It's rare for me to see a pastel i like...jim perron and garrick demeyer had soem sharp ones last season thats the only reason i like them now ... i was tired of the dirty looking ones i was seeing..... hopefully with new variations and selective non mass production we can see the quality and price go back into pastel lines
