Is anyone really into breeding newts, or know someone that is???
Been having some high mortalities with newts and I think its related to stress from the breeding season. Just wanted to know if anyone has had similiar issues. I know its not a husbandry issue, I just can't figure out what the problem is.

I would say that stress *is* a husbandry issue of sorts. Here are some articles that may help. I would suggest the forum on caudata.org as a place to meet other breeders, but it's out of order at the moment.
