Just some pics.

Thought I'd share some pics of Niko and her enclosure. The pick of her was on the old substrate of mixed birdseed which has been removed in favor of playsand.

The cacti are live and I haven't had any problems yet. I checked them out before putting them in and found them to be safe to eat, she cleaned the flowers off one of them immediatly. The spins on them are not very tough so I'm not very worried about her getting stabbed.

Since she has stopped eating out of her dish and eats on top of her rock I planted some endive and sprouts in her old food dish. They just started peaking out of the soil on the weekend and she has yet to notice them. I'm sure once she does they will be gone instantly.

The black tube goes under the sand into a tupperware container. She has been tentative about it and has gone in yet. She will get has stuck her head in a bit but hasn't gone all the way in.

The log in the corner is her basking spot (140f).

Just a heads up since I think I saw sunflower seeds in your substrate, I've read multiple publications that advise sifting pointy shelled seeds out of substrate. It seems reasonable to me just to avoid a choking hazard.

Definitly. I removed that substrate awhile ago after someone mentioned that the sunflowers could cause problems. Just an old pic as my little guy is still camera shy.
