Hi.. Frog ID Please?

kilhd Apr 17, 2006 03:46 PM

Hello.. I am normally seen on the cage, and python forums but a couple of weekends ago I was outside and found a type of frog I have never seen before. I live in Montgomery, AL. and the frog was found in a pipe right next to a water spicket. He is about the size of the top part of my thumb and grey in color and looks as if he had a "rocky-licky" texture to the touch. I didn't touch him as I didn't want to disturb him. If anyone knows what type he is I would love to know, thanks for reading!
(sorry about pics not being great.. my cam didnt like being so close to the object. hehe)

looks as though you have come across a grey treefrog. they are a beautiful species of treefrog native to the eastern cost of the US.
