I have a 1 year old female gecko who hasn´t eaten very much lately (2 weeks). Usually I feed her crickets and mealworms. She has also a rather large area on her belly that is blue/blackish. But the stomach is not hard( as I have learned it should be if it would be constipated?). She drinks and moves around as usual. Not much feces the last week. She shares terrarium with another (larger) female and has done that for at least a year - and I have never seen anything that seems to be the matter between the two of them. Bottom substrate is small pieces of wood, not digestable. I´m a bit worried about the bluish belly, the blue area seems to have been larger. Could it be crypto? Has anyone got a picture of that? I plan to take her to a vet, problem is, there´s no one near here - at least not anyone with knowledge of lizards.
This is one of my six geckos - the rest of them are just fine - but in other terrariums.
