How do you clean cages when urine is stuck to the plastic? What should I soak it in?

Hot water in a spray bottle should do the trick. Disinfect the area after you clean it!

Hello,
If you are trying to get urates off of the white Freedom Breeder tubs try hosing them out, scrape the big stuff off with a putty knife and use 400 grit Wet/Dry sandpaper on the stubborn stains. It will bring you back to a clean white finish. I find the sandpaper to work best if I'm running water over the area. Just like wet sanding a car finish!
