Just an FYI as I responded a little late -- I listed some good information resources in Dave B.'s April 4th message/topic "Indigo literature search".

Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. Here you may share and discuss information with others about your favorite reptile and amphibian related topics such as care and feeding, caging requirements, permits and licenses, and more. Launched in 1997, the kingsnake.com message board system is one of the oldest and largest systems on the internet.

That is a great resource for information and the link has been posted here several times in the past. The link is also available on the indigosnakes.com site. Unfortunately, there is nothing there refering to the information Dave was indicating; the predator / prey dynamics of D. couperi. Such would make a great topic for a graduate level study, but given the variety of prey, each of which harbor a unique dynamic within a population, such a study would require a tremendous amount of resources to garner a real understanding of how such plays out within the natural world. Unfortuantely, such resources are rarly made available to studies involving herpetofauna...
Best regards,
Jeff
