If a male horse is called a Stallion and a female is called a Mare, what is a male and female snake called? Anyone?

good one............usually they would be just 1.0 and 0.1?......LOL......sire and damm?........plain male and female.....hhhmmm..there has to be a word(s) for it.....

Thousands of years ago, people started naming animals, and as they domaciated them, it became common for them to divide the names up by sex.
Since, the domacation of reptiles is a recent thing, no person, or group has seen it important to divide up the sex of reptiles like horses, cows, pigs or dogs.
