nervous cal king hatchling

javakitty Apr 17, 2006 08:05 PM

So I've left my new cal king hatchling alone for about a month because when I got him, he was so nervous he wouldn't eat. So I would only going in the cage to give water and change bedding, and he was fine and started eating. Well now he rattles and strikes out repeatedly at anything that moves. I'm afraid he's going to stress himself out and stop eating again. Should I continue to leave him alone or should i try to start handling him. Thanks!

Alot of baby cali kings are nervous until they gain size to them... Mine are still nervous at about 30".
