This morning i found a beautiful juvie frog swimming in my garden's huge pond. He was acting kind of weird and i took him to see what was going on.Then i saw that his inner thigs were covered with fungus thats why he could not swim very well.
Thats the second frog i found with fungus attack in my pond.I think that maybe my ducks are contaminating the water. The first one died ( a huge adult) because i didnt know what to do to kill the fungus. Id like to at least try to save that one. Any ideas?
In my garden i have half a dozen of wild frogs. They live in the land too. During the winter they hibernate. They are huge, more than one kilo i guess (adults) but they are very sweet. They are not scared of humans! Very easy to take when they are in the water. The one i took today practically swam in my direction as if he wanted me to help him!lol!
I know that BETADINE cannot be used in salamanders so probably cannot be used in frogs too. I wonder if NEOSPORIN can be used in frogs. Any idea? Thanks
Flavia
