A few weeks ago we exhibited at a pet expo in Grand Rapids with the Michigan Society of Herpetologists. I took several species of lizards with me and, as usual, had a few well trusted animals out so that the public could get up close and personal. Atom, one of our male Green Iguana rescues, shared some space with Felix, one of my Argentine Tegus. They did very well together. I think the public enjoyed seeing these two animals up close and I would guess that they had their photo taken about 1000 times over the course of the weekend.
I don't advocate letting different species share space but these two are both well seasoned educational animals and very accustomed to spending time together.
