Hi again,
Well my ebenaui arrived today. They both had somewhat sunken eyes but otherwise apeared fine. After putting them in their cage the female quickly crawled to a dark spot to hide while the male stayed on the floor and circled the enclousure. I left the house at around noon and came back around 10:00 PM to find the female in the dark exploring her new home and the male lieing on the floor constantly gaping his mouth. The temperature read 71.2F on the digital thermometer so I don't think he was too hot.
Anyways I checked back 10 minutes later, still no improvment with the male, 10 minutes later the gecko was almost laying on its side and gaping its mouth often so I picked him up to move him to a different quarantine cage away from the female. As soon as I picked him up his jaw literally started chattering, he shook a little and then fell limp. Does this ring a bell in anyone's book? I have little experience with gecko problems and am not farmiliar with this one. Any help on this matter would be appriciated, thanks for your time
