Does anyone know if it is normal for a 5 month old male panther cham to be showing ZERO color? I know he should'nt have adult color for awhile, but he should have something right?

Some take longer than others. It could be if he is a calm little guy he has not felt enough of a stimuli to display. What happens if you show him his reflection in a mirror for a minute or two? It might surprise you. Does he change color while asleep?

Females tend to show more of a brownish/grayish color variation. Some male panthers don't start showing color until way later on, usually Ambanja and Sambava locales. He may just be a slow starter, what locale is he?

I know my panther didn't show very much color when he was 9/10 months old, than a few weeks later, almost instantaneously, his color came through.

Any chance you could take a few pics of him/her (lol) and post 'em on here. I'm sure the 'experts' on here would be able to identify IT easily. Good luck,

At five months should be able to give a good guess at the head shape.
