Het for Pied?

glytch Apr 18, 2006 10:17 PM

I recently bought a 50% het for pied male. Hes about 7-8 months old, too young for breeding I know, but I am curious. if I were to by another ball, what would be my best bet to buy to produce pieds? Im new to breeding and genetics.

Thanks!

Buy a het pied male, breed it to normals, save the poss. het females breed them back to the male het and get pieds. Breed your poss. het male to normals to get more poss. hets and do the same with the females. Long term project no matter what. Or buy a pair of hets for $1000 and make pieds first try.
