cage design

i live in an area where 20percent humidity is high. i have had my chameleon in a screen cage, used humidifiers, i mad an outomatic drip syste and misting system. gallons of water a day in order keep a few chams alive still i have had problems. anyway, i am thinking of making a semi sealed enclosure out of wood and glass. keep the humidity in, eliminate the humidifiers. have vents to keep humidity correct.
does anyone have any coments on this. has anyone tried this. i'm tired of waisting water and melting my walls with humidifiers.

Thanks.

Anything reflective is always bad for a chameleon, puts alot of stress on them. Especially if its a older cham.
