Help! Just Noticed last night a "Stick-Like" object protruding from my bearded dragon's vent. He is an adult male about 5 years old. Gave him a warm bath this evening to coax a bowel movement; which was successful. BUT the object is still there. He has an appetite (king meal worms) and shows no other symptons or signs of anything out of the ordinary. Has ANYONE ever heard of this or might have an idea of what it is?????? We do have pictures, if it will help you...... 0

It sounds like it might be a dried sperm plug.. Of course it's just a guess with out seeing the animal..

I would try to gently pull it out.. if it is a plug it should slide out with out much of a problem..

Sounds to me like it's trying to pass something it has ingested, possibly pine shaving,aspen ????
