I work at an outdoor school.they have a kingsnake that i dont know the age of.it escaped a week before i started working here 5 weeks ago.so it has been loose for 6 weeks.we found it last week in the building we keep them in and now it refuses to eat.it strikes above or to the side of the pinky.it was eating very well before it got loose.i havent seen this before.so any suggestions would be very much appreciated.it was fed two weeks before it got out two pinkies.so it has been two months of no food.thanks again.link to a picture of the snake

it looks heathy. give it a few days to settle down untill you try feeding it again. make sure it has water and try not to frighten it. He/she could just be frightend from ll the excitment.
