Hey all,
My veiled is rubbing his chin against the cage. Is this a sign he is about to shed?

does it look like he is shedding? loose skin? I have found that they tend to rub their eyes to release shed. Are there other signs of anything else? I have no experience with external parasites (mites, etc.) in chams but that does come to mind - unless it is in fact shed. Not sure how much this helped - can you post a pic?

Ohhhh...the old *lets freak my owner out thing*...very common I have found with ALL of my pets.

From a quote earlier VEGASBILLY says...."Don't micromanage".

Its hard to follow sometimes, but I found sitting back a few days and "watching" tends to help. They have definately been words to live by....in all aspects of life!

It's tough being a parent....even to the animal kingdom dwellers.
