too old to party?

Jaime77 Apr 19, 2006 03:03 PM

I just got my first Leopard Gecko, a beautiful normal male. According to the guy I bought him from, he's about four years old. I'd read that they can live up to twenty years, so I thought four was pretty young. Now a reptile store owner tells me that my male is too old to breed. Is this true? I was going to get him a girlfriend but not if he's shooting blanks.

No he is not to old to breed. However you should keep him for awhile before you add to your collection. Especially when they can't be housed together in most cases.
